Silky Smoke
Posted by Ben Mettler on October 22, 2010 at 9:50 pmAnyone know of any tutorials or write-ups on making silky looking smoke with AE and TC Particular? I’ll include an image to get a better understanding.

October 22, 2010 at 10:12 pmform might be better suited for this, it’s more of a ‘volumetric’ particle system. there an example of something similar at the bottom of this page:

to try it in particular, you’ll need a lot of particles, little to no velocity, a large emitter and then use the turbulence field (physics>air>turbulence field) to try and create the silky-smokey-fabric look.
