Silicon Image software “not compatible” with OS 10.6.8 – other eSATA options?
Hey,
I realize this is not exactly an FCP question, but I just did a dandy clean install of everything, then cloned that system drive, put it on a shelf and all is well. As i was bringing back a user profile from my previous backup disk, it stopped at one point and told me the Silicon Image software (for my eSATA card) was not going to be installed as it was incompatible with this version of the OS. I had used it before and never saw such a window. Are there other options for such software?

You have to look for the correct version.
I’m working with e-SATA on a MBP with 10.6.
I think the version I have installed is “SiI3132_1.1.9u_Sil”.
