Sidecar
FYI – these are the apps (so far) that will be enabled to work with the Sidecar feature in Catalina (iPad as 2nd screen + Pencil support).

Good to see FCPX and Resolve included; Pro CC eventually, one would hope.
I recall seeing an Avid featurette on editing Gravity, awhile back (with Mark Sanger, A.C.E., perhaps?) …
What was fascinating was the setup: A 24″ touchscreen, a game controller … and the keyboard off to one side for occasional use like tagging clips. In operation, it was a very fluid, intuitive and rhythmic process.
If Sidecar can bring a little of that feel to popular NLEs, I’m anxious to try it.
