Shutter speeds?
Posted by Toke on December 12, 2005 at 11:24 amDoes hvx200 have shutter speeds that match 180 degree shutter with all available frame rates?
(12, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 30, 32, 36, 48, 60fps).Or does it have 1/24, 1/36, 1/40, 1/44, 1/48, 1/52, 1/60, 1/64, 1/72, 1/96, 1/120 shutter speeds?
Or which ones of those above it has?
Or can somebody list all shutter speeds it has?Toke replied 20 years, 4 months ago 4 Members · 6 Replies -

December 13, 2005 at 5:01 amThere are many, many more shutter speeds possible. Those shutter speeds are the stock speeds, and don’t include the Synchro Scan speeds. Also, when you’re in FILM CAM mode, the shutter speed is expressed in terms of shutter angle degrees, and can vary from about 5 degrees all the way to 350 degrees.

So, you can always choose 180 degrees shutter with all frame rates?
What other Cam modes it has? VIDEO CAM mode? -

December 14, 2005 at 2:23 amYes you can choose 180 degrees with all frame rates. And yes, the picture does get a little darker as you increase the frame rates. And yes, the other option is VIDEO CAM mode — which enables certain features, such as interval recording and loop recording, and replaces the “degrees” shutter method with actual fractions (i.e., 1/36.0 or 1/172.2 or whatever).

This is really design for usability.
Now both people from video industry and from film industry can understand the camera better and work together better.
