Shut Down Short cut
Is there a key stroke shortcut to Shut down or Restart.

Control-CD Eject will bring up the box that asks if you want to shut down, sleep, or restart.
You still have to hit Return to shut it down, but that’s pretty close and it could all be done with the keyboard.

The fastest shut down is to hit control-option-command-eject at the same time. It will do an immediate close verything and shut down. This was one of the best kept secrets of OS 9 as well.
