Shrinking scale for perspective appears to accelerate.
This is something I have noticed in After Effects and also Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere.
When keyframe an object’s scale from large to small to give the illusion that it is moving away from the camera, the object appears to get faster or slower near the end of the shrink despite being applied to a linear Keyframe.
Can anyone help me with why this happens and a better way to achieve the effect so it looks like they object is moving away at a uniform speed?

except for exponential scale Dave suggested, setting the layer to 3D and animating the Z position could give you a more realistic zooming in then a scale.
