hey guys, i am creating my website for my portfolio and i am trying to use the jpegs from my export of my QT movies to make thumbnails… i am creating the site in dreamweaver and have the template already broken up using photoshop, i just need to plug in the jpegs…

i have used black boxes to represent where the thumbnails are going to be in my tables and need to resize the jpegs to fit inside of the boxes… what is the best way to resize the jpegs without losing pixel animation other than trying to recreate the image in illustrator…

the jpegs are 720 x 480 and the thumbnails i need to put them in are 101 x 74

    thanks all,

    Why don’t you use 101 x 67?

    That’s the constrained proportion for 720 x 480.

    Then just “Image Size” them.

If Photoshop doesn’t do the trick for you I don’t know what software can fulfill your expectations.

As an alternative you can crop a portion of the image for the thumbnail, so you don’t reduce it too much.
