  • Show values on 16-235 space in Premiere

    I’m working with DSLR footage.

I imported them into premiere and I did my Color Correction on both Premiere and AE (with dynamic link)

Then I exported the file with h264 codec.

The problem is that Premiere displays values on RGB 0-255, while the exported file is display by a lot of players (VLC, web browser…) on 16-235.

How can I work in Premiere showing 16-235 values?

Should I export with a different codec to preserve 0-255? What will happen when I upload the file to youtube or vimeo with a different codec then h264?

    Thank you
