    hello All,

I have been interested for awhile how to achieve this look in editing. The best, simple and most accurate example I can utilize is the Show Open for NBC’s “Park and Recreation”

You can do that pretty easily easily in FCP, After Effects, Motion, or Combustion. In FCP I would advise that you acquire the Boxes plugin from Digital Heaven, which will give you considerably more control over split screen elements than is possible in the FCP motion tab.
