Show only X rotation in the layers panel
Posted by Eliezer Cisner on February 17, 2009 at 6:11 pmHello!
I’m working on a bunch of 3D layers, and I want to tweak the X rotation, when I press “R” all rotations appear. What can I do to only show one particular rotation?

February 17, 2009 at 6:30 pmThank you very much Dave!
Let me explain a bit my question:
As we all know is when you press “P”, just the position properties appear (and so on), the genius reason behind this is of course that we should be able to work with “position” without the clutter of all other unnecessary properties.
But, in a 3D layer the letter “R” reveals multiple rotation properties, and we’re cluttered again with unnecessary properties (in the case that we only need one, X in my case).
What I’m asking is, is there any shortcut or whatever that reveals just a certain parameter of my choice. Simple as that. No mind reading.
Thanks again!

February 17, 2009 at 10:25 pmThere is a very usable shortcut for it: SS
It stands for “show selected”. Just highlight X rotation, press SS and magic happened. Also you can highlight other properties you want to be shown and press SS and then only those properties will be displayed.
Hope it helps.
