  • Show contents property group for a shape layer or other types of layers?

Posted by Jonathan Wing on August 20, 2013 at 3:13 pm

Is there a keyboard shortcut? I’ve searched the forums and the AE help and can’t seem to find anything. I have hundreds of layers where I have to access the contents property group and it’s getting a little tiresome twirling it all down by mouse…

    Thanks!

You can use the timeline search box (the text entry field with the magnifying glass at top of the timeline panel, to the right of the timecode).

If you have a specific property within the contents group you want to modify, like stroke width, just type “stroke” in the search box and the timeline (or timeline selection) will be filtered.

Ah yes, I often forget you can use that little thing. Good point. Wish there was a keystroke but what the hell, that’ll do! Thanks.
