    Should I update my OS X?

    Hey guys,

    I use color finale pro with fcpx. They said I need to update my operating system to use their newer version. I’ve been sitting idle with OS X El Capitan 10.11.16 for a while. Gun shy about compatibility I guess. I’m running fcpx 10.3.4, Compressor 4.3.2. Computer specs are..

    imac 27″ late 2013
    3.5 intel i7
    32 gb 1600 mhz ddr3
    250gb SSD (if I recall correctly)
    nvidia GeForce gtx 780m 4096 mb

    Color Finale support also said, “To run it you need Mac with macOS 10.13 – 10.14 and Metal
    compatible GPU.”

    Is there any reason for me to be worried about updating the os x? If not, should I update all the way to the newest os x? (if I even have the choice).

    No, nothing to worry about, make sure all you apps are up to date after you have updated and everything will be fine.
