I am gearing up for a documentary shoot. I am refining my work flow and thinking about buy pluraleyes. Basically I am shooting on a DSLR with a duel system audio setup. I am looking for a ork flow that will allow me to synch the footage as soon as I bring it in to the computer, meaning I would take it from the card to a harddrive, then from a harddrive to pluralize to synch and then into adobe prelude to mark up and then finally into premiere. What is the workflow like for synching footage without making a sequence in a NLE first? is it pretty simple. WHat is the exporting process like? Does it transcode when you export or just attach a new audio channel to the file?

    Thanks!
