Shot Numbers
I am currently working as an editor on an animation project and need to provide shot numbers for the animators. I have edited the story boards with the dialogue and need to put some sort of text overlay on top so the animators can break down each shot. For previous episodes I simply used the text generator but this is a time-consuming process since I have to change the text every time there is a cut. Does anyone know of a way I can have Final Cut automatically rename the text every time I make a cut? Any help would be appreciated.

No way within FCP to automatically have text change…
