    I’m using Premiere 6.5

When I go to shorten a clip on the timeline by grabbing and dragging it, I used to be able to see the footage that I was cutting away in my viewer or TV moniter. For some reason, I must have done something to disable that, because when I start dragging the end of a clip to shorten it, what I’m cutting out doesn’t appear on screen. It’s really inconvenient when I have two clips synced up, and I go to shorten the bottom clip and can’t see what I’m cutting out (unless I put it on the top line).

Does this question make sense? Do you know how I get that view back? Thanks!
