shortcuts not working
i searched and can’t find the answer to how do i turn my keyboard shortcuts on in after effects cs5 settings.
they don’t seem to be working.
for instance, if i try to see keyframes of an effects on a layer and press the “u” key nothing happens.
that is the case with several other shortcuts as well.
using a dell natural keyboard pro which in english language
how do i fix this?thanks

Are you sure that there are keyframes on the layer?
What other keyboard shortcuts are you referring to?
You don’t “turn on” keyboard shortcuts.

try hitting ‘uu’ (2 u’s typed quickly). this will show all modified properties, including those with expressions, not just those with keyframes.

Go to After Effects > Preferences > General… and the check off Use system shortcut keys. there IS a way to turn them on and off. :]
