    ok so this would probably be posted in the future forum for beginners but.. can someone tell me howo to open just certain things at once in the timeline together such as just the opacity(apple/T) and rotation(r) so they are open together only.

    I’m on a pc right now but …

    For example pressing “r” will bring up rotation, then to add say, position press shift and “p”. For certain effects it is useful to be able to remove the things you don’t want to see – to do this you press shift and alt and click on the items you want to take off

    hitting ‘uu’ on a layer will show his keyframed clockwatches only (pretty useful)
    ‘u’ does the same for 1 channel if I remember :-/

    there is a full keyboard shortcut chart in the help section on AE, i’ve PDFed that to keep it handy while working. i think it includes all shift and alt options…
