    Hi,

Is there a complete list of navigation shortcuts for the windows in avid.
A list which includes those shortcuts that are not logical or already listet in the menus?

I know the timeline for instance is crtl+0 (or is it 7), and the record/source monitor is crtl+4,
but what about going from having the timeline activated to a bin?

And from a bin to the project window?

Or from a bin to another bin (cycling through them)?

I know it can be done – because I did it by accident on an XPress 3.5.

    Daniel

I am not front of a system right now, but I believe that CTRL TAB cycles through all open windows with the Avid interface making then active. As far as a comprehensive list, it would certainly make for a nice online contribution if everyone added their own findings and were collated.

Ctrl + Tab will cycle through the windows. The “Esc” key will toggle between the “Source” and “Record” monitors.

The rest are available under the “Tools” menu. You can also customize your keyboard to use some of these functions.
