Shortcuts Chart for Final Cut Pro X
Posted by Leo Hans on May 11, 2012 at 7:23 pmI made a PDF Shortcuts Chart for Final Cut Pro X.
– All main shortcuts are included (I didn’t include multi cam shortcuts because they are too many. I plan to release another PDF for that).
– Shortcuts are grouped by categories.
– Shortcuts are sorted by function (not alphabetically). If you want to download it for free, go to my blog (the blog is in spanish, so you can look for the download link at the end of the article):

May 11, 2012 at 8:42 pmPaul, they are in the FCPX documentation and in the App itself.
The idea within the PDF is to have it printed. Sometimes is faster and more practical than switching to another app.

May 11, 2012 at 8:48 pmI know the documentation has them. However last time I checked it was difficult to sift out what was new. The current database for my app contains about 270 entries.
The app has a small footprint and searching is fast. I find it much easier than fiddling with text files ;).
Thanks again.

May 12, 2012 at 1:07 pmI don’t get the idea.
I made a FREE PDF chat. And you are asking me to send you some info to update a PAID app? I believe that if you charge for your app, you should do researching for yourself or pay for it (I am not interested in doing that).
I don’t mean you can’t charge for your work, but it’s unfair to advertise your app “as better” like this where someone is giving free stuff.
By the way, in FCPX you have a shortcut to open Command Editor and there, you have all the keyboard shortcuts with an excellent search function. For free. Included in FCPX.

May 12, 2012 at 2:36 pmLeo you’re kidding me, right?
First of all who said I was going to charge you for the app? Secondly – who said the app is “better” than your solution? Yes it’s better for me. Who cares what I think? If you’re more comfortable with documents, that’s cool.
And thanks for the life lesson about the Shortcut Editor. What resource do you think I used to populate my database initially? I’m well aware that’s it’s there in the app.
I thought you might like you have a copy of the app, and I didn’t want to send it to you with a database that was not up to date. So what I was suggesting was if you send me a list of the newest shortcuts – I would update the app and send it over. That was my intention.

Well, I found that in a previous post from you while looking for a link to the app. Perhaps it’s outdated.
I’m not saying your App is useless or that it has non sense. I have to admit I miss understood your first post.
So, I am sorry about that. (english is not my mother’s language)
