Shortcut to create solid with pre-set colour?
When I’m adding effects like Element and Particular, to keep myself organised I like to use a solid with a set colour, ie. blue for Element, red for Particular, purple for track mattes etc…
It’s a quirk of mine, but I find it works well.
I’m probably just being lazy, but is there a way to have a shortcut to create a red solid? Or blue solid? I know creating a solid will create one with the previous settings, but it’s a couple of extra clicks to change the colour.
Any ideas?

no shortcut for this. you can ask for it in the wishform page.
sounds like something you can write a script for so might want to check on the script/expression forum if someone knows any script or can write one for you.

Why not just make one to reuse at the beginning of the project and then drag it from the solids folder to the time line in one move. Dragging puts it where you want it in the stack and when you want it in the time line.
