I am trying not to touch the mouse as much as possible.

sometimes on sequence, I can not do certain shortcuts because a clip on the sequence is selected. Is there any shortcut that deselect the clip in stead of click the empty spot on the sequence?

Also, when using Razor Blade tool (B), in stead of click to make a cut, is there any shortcut to make a cut on keyboard?

    thank you

If you hit Cmd Shift A it will deselect the timeline.

This one I am not sure about.

To get all the shortcuts that are setup goto Tool>Keyboard Layout> Customize (or Option H) to open the keyboard layout and on the right side you can see all the catagories and if you twirl down on the arrow there will be a list of shortcuts that are all ready set up, plus you can use this to remap the keyboard add shortcuts that might not be se up or move them to some where you like better.

Then you can save the layout and even copy it to a jump drive as a backup or to take with you to different systems if you freelance.

Yes you can split clips with the keyboard but you don’t need to select the Blade tool. Ctrl-V will do it across any tracks with Auto Select enabled.
