Shortcut Keys Not Working
Hi everybody.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I have been working on a project for the past couple of days. All of a sudden my “J-K-L” keys are not working. My “spacebar” will start and stop a clip, but the “J-K-L” keys have no effect. Also, none of my other shortcut keys will work.
The keys work when I go to another application.
I trashed my preferences and emptied the trash… no change.
I also restarted a couple of ties and even turned the machine off – didn’t help.
Anybody have any ideas?

Go to the customize keyboard shortcuts menu item and check to make sure you have the default set loaded.

thanks for the response.
I found the problem. In the “International” section of the Systems Preferences (OSX) I had English and Cyrillic switched. It did not take effect until I restarted Final Cut, so I didn’t know what happened.
As always, something that I messed up 😉
