Shortcut keys disappear

I have noticed on my iMac, that versions 22.5.1 and 21.2.1, in which I have updated to over the last few months, do not seem to feature the basic shortcut keys like Ctrl O, Ctrl N, Ctrl T. The shortcut description to the right of the dropdown menu no longer appears.

The last version I had in which they worked is 20.0.6. I’m still using it because searching for dropdown menus all day is not fun. Before I go in and make a bunch of shortcut keys, I want to know why this has happened.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas?
