I have a quick question – is there any way to use the photoshop default keyboard shortcuts to switch from the text tool to the move tool? Obviously pushing “v” when using the text tool will just type a “v.” I know i could switch the move tool key to a function key or something like that but was curiosu if there was any way to do it without trying to pound a new shortcut into my head. Thanks so much.

Often if you hold down the CTRL key while using another tool, you’ll get the move tool.

Otherwise, if you’re using the text tool, you have to get out of a text entry field before using keyboard shortcuts. The text tool is designed to take input from the keyboard, after all.
