  • Short sequence of frames from AE CS3 to Flash WITH ALPHA

The title says it all really; I have a sequence in AE (about 9 frames) that I want to place in a movieclip (over separate frames) in Flash CS3. I have tried a variety of render/export options, PNG, TIFF, JPG etc each with a variety of alpha settings. Nothing works the way I need it.

    Any ideas?

There is only one alpha setting, “millions of colors +” that delivers the alpha. The others don’t contain alpha regardless of the capability of the codec unless you hit the options or advanced button and switch from million to millions+

PNG and TIF will support alpha, I don’t think JPG does but you can export alpha only and use the second as a track matte.

I’ve nver used Flash for anything except to complain about it.
