    Hello everyone.. couple of questions…

How can i changed the speed of a clip without moving any other clip in the timeline?

Is there a way of selection a few effects or audio keyframes at the same time and dragging them? or it has to be one at a time?

is there a “reveal in project window” botton?

in premiere pro, when you are in the timeline on a clip and you press the T key, it brings the same clip to the viewer monitor (the left one) with the time indicator in the exact point in time than the clip you are on in the timeline. This is perfect when one gets rid of the audio of the clip and then you want to bring it back… or for editing music videos..
is there a way of doing this in FC?

    Thank you very very! much!

    A couple is two.

    1. Mark the section you want to put the speed changed clip into with I/O. Put the playhead at the beginning of the section. Press Cmd-Shift-F. Change the speed of the clip. Overwrite into the Timeline.

    2. Effects are not the same as audio keyframes. If you mean keyframes on audio effects. No, there isn’t. If you mean audio keyframes in the Timeline, select them and use the keyboard shortcuts to change the levels. If you mean reposition them. No, there isn’t.

    3. You can make a button. Or use Shift-F.

    4. F.

    All the best,

Which part isn’t working? Which part doesn’t work for you?

You have a clip in the timeline that you want to replace, same duration, with the same clip only slower or faster or whatever. So you mark the area that you want to put the clip into. Put the playhead over the clip and press the X key. This should mark the shot. Put the playhead at the beginning of the shot. Press Cmd-Shift. That matches back to the same frame from the media. Mark an In point and change the speed of the clip. Overwrite the clip into the timeline to replace the clip that’s there already. If this isn’t working for you please explain exactly what you’re doing and where it goes wrong.

    All the best,

    Tom
