does anyone have a list of short cut keys for vegas movie studio, after selecting an in point and out point in trimmer i would love for a shotcut key to just drop it to the time line like most other editors have. but a whole list would be great i have looked on-line and cant find one, didnt see one in the pdf’s the only one i know of is “s” in the time line splits a clip.

any help would be great thanks

Vegas Pro has a list of keyboard shortcuts under the Help menu so try looking in there.

BTW, the shortcut key for what you want to do is A.

Jared, what I meant was that’s where it is for Vegas Pro and I see no reason why it wouldn’t be in the same location for Movie Studio.

FYI, I just looked at the manuals for Movie Studio 8 & 9 and they both referred to the online help menu for keyboard shortcuts.

What I did when learning the shortcuts was just copy/paste them from the help menu into word, print them and study them while waiting for the bus. And I got a set of shortcut stickers I stuck on a spare keyboard that is now my dedicated Vegas keyboard.
