Hi everyone, i’m in the middle os a shooting, in a studio, with 4 sony xdcam, 2 ex3 and 2 ex1.

I am setting the cameras for 1080/60i, but one of the three cameras names this option as 1920/60i, i believe its the same only changing the way its named in the camera menu.

Am i right? I’ve already worked with this camera sometimes, but this is the first time i have the responsability of presetting the cameras and stuff. And than some doubts ocurred me.

I believe this is right, but would like to know for sure. I believe there must be an option in the menu to chance the way it’s options is named but couldn’t try it yet.

so, that’s it. i’d be glad to rear from u guys. Thanks for your time.

Well, the larger frame size of HD is 1920X1080 so I’m pretty sure that’s what the camera reporting the odd format name will shoot.

You could simply check it out a bit… make a shot with it, open it in QT and see what it actually is. Bet it’s the same as the other cameras…

Thanks Jerry. That’s what o tought it would be. But it would never be too much to ask.

I imported the files to final cut and did ommand 9 in the files to se if they matched, and they did. So its just right.

Anyway thanks again for your attention. and sorry for the bad english.
