    Hi people,

    I have a, probably the one of the most common, question. I’ve a shoot in couple of days and some specific shots I’d like to have slow motion.I was wondering if you would suggest;

    1-) Shooting at 60-720p afterwards whether put on a 24p timeline or drop it down to 24p with cinema tools/compressor (In this case, would I lose quality or drop frames?)

    or

    2-) Should I shoot 24-1080p and shoot only the specific shots that i want to slow down with 60-720p and use them ?

    Thank you in advance!!

    Shoot only the shots you need as slow-mo at 720p60. Use whichever software your comfortable with to conform or interpret that to 24p. Shoot your standard footage as 1080p24. Upscale the 720p60 footage to 1080 and edit away.

    FYI what I learned when shooting at 720p 60 to get slo-mo shots for a 24p project (with my GH2) was you need to use a minimum shutter speed of 125 or things can look wacky bad.
