Shooting Unboxing Videos- Best Lens for job?
Hi Guys,
I am filming some overhead product unboxing videos and I cant seem to get enough things in focus at the same time.
The camera I am shooting with is a Canon 7D (cropped sensor) with Kit Len 18mm – 135mm
Do you think I am setting the aperture too low or should I just use a better wide lens so that anything close to the lens is in focus?
Your help is appreciated.

Do you have a rough recommendation of a lens I should look for?
a wide one at f/16 perhaps?

18mm on APS-C should be more than wide enough for most unboxing videos, and you can set your aperture wherever you want. At 18mm and F8, you should have basically everything in focus. Do you have enough light to accommodate that?
