    The best solution is to shoot with a camera that has a “clearscan” mode, that allows you to dial in the exact shutter speed needed to eliminate the rolling. Here in the US, the clearscan shutter speed setting is usually 1/60.1 (for 60.1Hz power).

    If your camera won’t clearscan but you can choose other standard shutter speeds, try one a little lower.

    Or another (less satisfactory) option is to play around with the refresh rates on the computer. On a windows PC, that would be going START > SETTINGS > CONTROL PANEL > DISPLAY > SETTINGS > ADVANCED > MONITOR… where you will see a dropdown box that will allow you to try different refresh rates. You may find one that eliminates (or at least lessens) the rolling. Just remember to put the computer back as it was once the shoot is done.
