Shockwave Effect
Hi. I am doing a short matrix spoof and would like to recreate the shock wave that Neo causes around his body at the end of the movie when he comes back from the dead and learns he can alter the matrix. The shockwave expands from the outside edge of his body and then shrinks back to his body.(I hope you know which scene I mean). In the past I have also wanted to add a shock wave to a large explosion. I’m sure there is a way to create a circle or oval shaped emitter that expands while blurring the background image behind it(a la the “Get color from layer” library). I am hoping someone who is better at creating/tweaking emitters than I am can build this effect. “Shock waves” could even be the theme of a future monthly library.
