shimmer edges
Hi I’m having a problem with exporting a avi with alpha into premier when rendered it has a shimmer on the edges like a still would have without flicker removal I know I’m missing something but what it is I’m at a loss ? Hope this is understandable.

1-Is the alpha created by a key or by a mask? There’s a big difference in what can cause the flickering on the edges depending on how the alpha is created.
2- .avi may not be the best way to export a clip with alpha- .mov with Animation lossless codec or sequence of tga / tiff.
3- Why export with alpha to Premiere???? AE is the compositing program and the finishing comps should be done in AE and rendered out for final cut from AE.Tudor “Ted” Jelescu
