shifting events on multiple tracks
Howdy,
I have a show with several audio and video tracks. Some tracks have only a few events that are spread out. If I want to insert an event on Track 1, and want to keep all later events on all tracks in sync, I make sure auto-ripple is turned on, then search for the next event on each track and ctrl-click, then drag events. This works, but the process of scrolling forward and backward on the timeline to find the events to ctrl-click on each of several tracks is cumbersome.
Is there a slick, simple way to say, “select all events on all tracks to the right of the current position”?

Yes. I don’t know if a free script is available for this but I know that Ultimate S by VASST will do this and a whole lot more. I also think that Excalibur by JetDV can do this as well.

You should use “All tracks, markers and regions” Auto Ripple mode. That’s it.
If you still want to quickly and easily select the events, then take a look at Select Events tool from Vegasaur extension. -

Yea, right-click on the event and choose the menu option Select Events to End. This will select all events from the current one to the end of the track.
