When I make a region and then i click shift+B the selection changes it makes itself longer or shorter and sometimes it stays the same. But I want the preview to be only where I chose I don’t want it to be longer or shorter. How can I change that?
I have sony vegas 10 on windows 7.
Thank you for your help 🙂

If you make a long selection and do a RAM render, Vegas will shorten the selection if it does not have enough RAM to complete the render. Full-screen or large previews take more RAM than small (eg quarter) previews.

You can set the amount of RAM dedicated to RAM previews – go to Options>Preferences>Video and change the RAM Preview value. Don’t kame it too big or you won’t have enough RAM left for everything else.

I know but sometimes it makes itself longer or it cuts the start of the selection not end. I have it on 350MB from 1024MB is that good?

For example I make a selection form 0:5 to 0:8 it’s okay then I choose another selection (from 0:10 to 0:13) and click shift+B an it changes the selection to 0:5 to 0:13
it’s like it wants to start from the beginning of the previous selection. Please does anyone know how to change that? Thank you
