  Shift field filters

  What does shift fields filter do. Y ,when i import a graphic file into FCP, does it have this filter. And i realise that if that filter is there my alpha won’t work… Only when i delete the filter can i see the first layer.

  So question: What is shift fields?
  what does it do?
  Y does that filter sometime appear when i import graphic files?
  How do i import it without that filter in it?
  ANd lastly why does it affect my speed up or down clips..
