(Sorry for the cross-post – not sure which forum this goes on!)

Has anyone had any luck running the SheerVideo codec with FCP or Quicktime on OSX 10.4.7?

It looks absolutely ideal for the enormous project I’m working on right now (www.bloodspell.com), but whilst I can get it working fine on Windows, on my Mac with FCP I’m just getting a white screen, no matter what I do.

Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated. I’ve gone through all the stuff mentioned on their support pages. I’ve checked that the component is installed to the appropriate places (/libraries/quicktime/), downloaded the latest version of the reader and so on.

Also – does anyone know if BitJazz (the guys who make SheerVideo) are still running? I can’t find any updates for any of their products or pages beyond November 2005, I can’t get them on the phone and I’ve not heard back from an email I sent them.
