Has anyone had any luck running the Quicktime SheerVideo codec on OSX 10.4.7?

It looks absolutely ideal for the enormous project I’m working on right now (www.bloodspell.com), but whilst I can get it working fine on Windows, on my Mac with FCP I’m just getting a white screen, no matter what I do.

Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Also – are BitJazz (the guys who make SheerVideo) still running? I can’t find any updates for any of their products or pages beyond November 2005.

What Mac are you running? The codec won’t run on intel macs. Very frustrating. I wan to use SheerVideo on several large animation projects but I haven’t been able to get an answer about when or if a UB version will be available. It’s a real shame if Andreas has abandon development. It’s an amazing codec.
