    Hi,

I’m using the try out of Sheervideo on MacPro. When I export from After Effects CS4 with Sheer 8bit 422 with standard option settings and play the quicktime file in FCP5 in a sequence with the same Sheersettings, then I see on the computer screen “stripes” in the image. Like there is something wrong with the fields (I use upper fields first in after effects export and also in the FCP sequence). But on a tv monitor everything is ok. Am I doing something wrong ?

    thank you

    Hi Jan,
You can only check interlaced issues in an interlaced monitor or TV.
If its looks well in the TV, don’t worry about the computer.
If you want the movie to look well in the computer, deinterlace.

thanks Rafael, the most important thing is that it looks good on a PAL tv, but it’s still kinda strange.
I figured out that it’s only with the graphics, not with video images underneath it, so maybe it’s something with the motion blur on the graphic layers in CS4.

Did you “Interpret” the footage as interlaced in AE?
