Shatter image into the same but smaller images?
I’ve been googling now for a while and I can’t seem to find an answer to my question.
My desire for this short scene:
I have an image of a phone graphic similar to this: https://static.freepik.com/free-photo/phone-icon-clip-art_423047.jpg
What I am trying to do is “shatter” or “explode” the phone graphic into lots of tiny versions of that exact graphic.
Ideally, the way shatter works on a plain solid layer with either glass or bricks, I want the same thing to happen just with the same shape.
Can anyone help?

Wait, so you want each shard to be that exact image? So it is made up of itself? I’d use a particle system for that…

You can use Trapcode Form Plugin for this effect.
In form,
Go to Layer Maps>Color and Alpha Map and Choose your Graphics in layer that you want to explode.
Choose particle type to Sprite and then Choose your Graphics as Texture in it. Make Sure the Size of graphics(Copy the Original file and reduce the File size extremely small) is very small otherwise it will take hours to render.You can then use Disperse, Fractal and Twist properties to explode your graphic.
