Sharpening strategies
Compared to simply using the unsharp mask in Premiere or After Effects, the Blur-Sharpen tool in Resolve seems extremely crude, at least to me.
Can anyone suggest any sharpening strategies in Resolve, to approximate what can be done using unsharp masking? -

Splitting the luma and chroma will give you better results. Although the tutorial below is for NR, it applies to sharpening as well:
