  Sharpening setting in d7000

  Lotsa threads about the theory behind the various “best” picture control settings in d7000 video in order to max out the editing flexibility, but no discussions of the theory behind the sharpening recommendations.

  They vary from one to three.
  What would be a good “general purpose” level that would be useful right out of the camera? My monitor and “draft” settings aren’t good enough for me to feel comfortable making changes in that area while editing.
