    Ok, so I’m still on this project with all the hairy footage. It’s all done in DV, and much of it is pretty soft. I’ve tried using Sharpen in FCP, but I get lots of artifacts. This is about the best I’ve been able to do with it so far. Is there something better that might handle this footage?

    The Lyric Masked Sharpen is much better than FCP plugin.

    Hi, Michael–

    I’ll definitely try it.

    I also read someone else recommend Nattress FTGSmartDeNoise. Any thoughts on how they compare if I were to invest in only one?
