Does anyone know how to soften the edges in a boole where the two objects intersect?
I am subtracting on object from another object, but the edge where the two objects intersect is always sharp and I would like to fillet it.

    Thanks.

Unfortunately it’s just a limitation of Cinema booleans. There IS no good way to add fillets.

A co-worker recently offered this simple (but not reliable) solution: just boole the objects, convert them to polys, then bevel the edges of intersection…

Again, it’s not the cleanest method, but it may work in some scenarios.

I’ve already written to Maxon to request some “fillet at boole” checkbox, and it may be a good idea to do the same.

    Hope this helps!

with simple booles you can you can just bevel the intersection edge, with slightly more complex booles you can scale the ‘inner’ part of the boole down a bit and extrude the edges out a bit and Stitch them together and Bevel that but anything too complex is hard.
