Sharing the board
Posted by Ken Latman on July 16, 2008 at 8:04 pmI was trying to search the Apple discussion boards but they turned off the feature for some reason. I did stumble across this site which does now search that board.
https://boardreader.com/Could this community be a part of it as well?
Not sure how other members feel about that, but it would be helpful.

July 30, 2008 at 12:35 amI have tried to see what advantage or what this would bring to COW users, Ken. So far, I just don’t see what that is.
Sell me on it. Why should we care and what does it do for our members? How does it work?
Thanks, Ken.
Best regards,

Remember: Burt Bacharach lied. What the world really needs now is an undo button.

August 28, 2008 at 1:42 amKen, take a look at the upper right hand corner. See that blank area with the button that says “SEARCH” on it? That’s really all you need to find something here at the COW.
Why you would want to go to another site to seacrch for content on THIS site escapes me.
Kind of like frying the fish twice isn’t it?

August 28, 2008 at 10:02 amI know there is a search button on the COW. My original point was that sometimes I go to multiple boards to find answers. While the COW is great, ToolFarm has a board, I think Digital Anarchy has a board, PhotoShopUser magazine has board, Layers Magazine has board, etc.
Sometimes the well in one board on the COW is not always active.I can pick up a little knowledge here and there. It would be nice if the universe all lived in harmony but
it is what it is.I can totally understand not wanting people to leave the COW for other sites. It was just a suggestion.

August 28, 2008 at 11:48 amAll that said, if you have any suggestions for building traffic in the forums where you’d LIKE to have more traffic, by all means sing out.
Certainly one of the things that helps is articles. Up for writing anything? Even a few tips? It’ll pay off….
