Sharepoint 2016 as a B-Roll library
My company is looking to put Sharepoint on our new server, and they are hoping that we can create a searchable database for all of our b-roll (aprox 11k clips). However I can’t really find any resources ot answer a few questions I have. 1) Can it handle that much content? 2) Do I need to remove the files from the NAS drives and upload them to the server one at a time? 3) How detailed of a metadata can I have? I hope someone here can help.

do you mean Microsoft SharePoint ? Why would you do this, when there are wonderful asset managers for video out there, like CatDV and Axle Video, that are designed exactly for your application ?
