Shape layer strokes

May 18, 2009 at 8:32 pmYou should be able to select the shape’s path from the twirl down and resize it from there.

May 18, 2009 at 8:50 pmThe order of operations for shape layers is incredibly configurable. If you put a set of shape attributes into a group, then you can transform that group separately and _then_ have the stroke applied to the group as a whole. It’s pretty easy to just drag the shape attributes around to fiddle with the order of operations. It’s the grouping that often eludes people.
So, group, scale with the transforms inside the group, and then apply the stroke below (outside of) the group.
