Shape from vector layer: preserving or creating gradient
I’m creating a 3D shape from an .eps logo that contains gradients. From what I can find, AE CS6 doesn’t support this. Does anyone have a work around for this or any suggestions?

Use ShapeShifter AE- it preserves the image.

Another vote for ShapeShifter AE [link]. (Try the demo if you’re sure if your GPU meets the requirements.)
It’s vastly more flexible and significantly faster to render than stacking up loads of 2.5D layers for pseudo-extrusion.
