Howdy, I shot a wedding on the weekend, and there is one clip where I was just so tired from hauling around the tripod that I went handheld. I had the Image Stabilization on the lens on, but it is still just too shaky.

So I would really like to use this clip and was wondering how I might be able to smooth it out a bit.

I thought of taking a still and then copying it over many times to get a bit of viewing time. But I think the image would probably degrade. I don’t need to much maybe three seconds.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Can you upload a bit of it to DropBox so we can see how much it shakes?

If it is only just this title part then I would do as you already mentioned. Just take a snap shot clip of it. There is no need to then paste many clips to fill the time, just drag the length of the single clip to what time you want.. unless I am missing something.

No, you are not missing anything. I’ll give this a look. It is just that I thought the image would be degraded, by tacking a snap. But I never did give it a hard look and then try to drag it out to see what I would have. I’ll give it a go, and see. Thanks very much for the help.

As a point of reference, if it doesn’t work, see if you find a friend with After Effects. It has a “warp stabilizer” that i use in a pinch. Fabulous tool if you need it.good for short sequnences and you output and bring into any NLE.
