I know there are ways to create panning and zooming for still photos in ae, but are there any ways to do those same effects for live action video, aside from panning and zooming while filming? If this seems like a dumb question it’s because I’m new to ae.
    _thanks

    Hello,

Yes you can apply pan and zooms effects using scale, position controls in After Effects to your video footage but as you zoom you will get pixelation. I do not really understand what you mean about doing this with “live action aside from panning and zooming”?

Is this what you want to do rostrum effects for video you have shot rather then the technique applied to photos in After Effects?

Yeah…basically I want to be able to apply panning and zooming effects to footage I’ve shot and edited. So if that means applying rostrum effects, than yes.
